Things that adapted during the Project
Throughout my project from the beginning I had a pretty certain idea on what content I was going to produce to fit my theme of 'MOVEMENT'. So as a result of being so sure I never changed much, during the project at all.
However my mind did change slightly on the amount of each genre I would include in the content. For example, I was just going to dedicate my project to adventure sports specifically, however I thought I could create more of a unique juxtaposed project workflow by capturing landscapes where there is only slight movement, and also adventure sports where movement, known for being hard to capture, due to the fast moving subjects and high difficulty of focusing.
I changed my idea in the beginning from not using any artificial flash. I adapted my idea due to the fact the title of this project is 'Nature vs Man', 'Nature' is natural and is how it is, so I thought I would stick to using no artificial lighting in my landscapes no matter what the condition. This would help me maintain the natural feeling within the frames and setting.
However throughout my 'Man' albums I came to a conclusion that I was going to use artificial lighting to show how advanced the technology is and give a deeper understanding through the story of my images, as to how such fast movements are frozen with new technology. Using technology is something that we as a species use everyday and use as a priority over every other method, as we can find easier methods to solve problems and find solutions.
All in all there is a huge juxtaposition created between the two genres 'landscapes' and 'adventure sports' which allows the audience to relate themselves and interact more deeply with the images themselves.
